How to Switch Binance APP to Chinese

Binance Language Switching Overview

As a globally-focused cryptocurrency trading platform, Binance supports dozens of interface languages, including Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. Many users find the interface is in English after their first installation, but it only takes a few simple steps to switch to Chinese. This article covers the language settings for both the mobile APP and web version.

Switching Language in the Mobile APP

iOS Steps

Open the Binance APP and tap the profile icon (or menu icon) in the top left
Find and enter the Settings page from the side menu
Find the Language option
Select Simplified Chinese or Traditional Chinese from the language list
After confirming your selection, the APP will automatically switch to the Chinese interface

If you can't find the settings entry, try this path:

Bottom navigation bar > More > Settings > Language

Open the Binance APP
Tap the profile icon in the top left
Scroll to find General Settings or Settings
Tap Language

Finding Settings When the Interface Is All in English

For users who can't read English, here's a quick way to find the setting:

After opening the APP, tap the person-shaped icon in the top left
In the pop-up menu, find a gear icon, and tap to enter
In the list, find the option labeled "Language" (usually has a globe icon)
Tap it and look for options containing Chinese characters
Select the appropriate Chinese option

Switching Language on the Web Version

Method 1: Via Page Footer

Visit the Binance website in your browser
Scroll to the very bottom of the page
Find the language selector (usually showing a globe icon and the current language)
Click and select your preferred language from the dropdown menu

Method 2: Via Top Navigation Bar

On the Binance web version, there's usually a globe icon in the top right corner
Click that icon
Select your preferred language from the language list that appears
The page will automatically refresh with the new language

Method 3: Directly Modify the URL

In the browser address bar, change the language code in the Binance URL to your preferred language code to directly access the page in that language.

Chinese Versions Supported by Binance

Binance offers two Chinese interfaces:

Simplified Chinese (Chinese Simplified): Uses simplified characters, commonly used in mainland China
Traditional Chinese (Chinese Traditional): Uses traditional characters, commonly used in Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan

Both Chinese versions are functionally identical, differing only in text display.

Language Setting Notes

Language is linked to your account: The language preference set in the APP is saved to your account. Even when logging in on a new phone, the Chinese setting will sync over.
Customer service language: After setting a Chinese interface, live support will prioritize assigning Chinese-speaking agents, making communication easier.
Email notification language: Binance email notification language may not automatically follow the APP language. You can separately set the email language in notification settings.
Professional terminology: Even after switching to Chinese, some cryptocurrency professional terms may remain in English (such as BTC, ETH coin names), which is industry convention.

Other Useful Settings

After switching the language, it's recommended to also check the following settings:

Timezone: Set it to your local timezone (e.g., UTC+8 for Beijing time) to ensure candlestick chart timestamps are correct
Currency unit: You can set the display currency for asset valuations
Theme mode: Choose between light and dark themes — dark mode is easier on the eyes at night
Market display: Set default trading pairs and sorting preferences
